Character Arcs
These are a collection of threads that showcase your character having some form of development. What this really means is truly up to you. For the typical person growing in raw power might be what drives them as a person and causes their development. For others, it might be fulfilling life-long quests and journeys to far off lands. We as staff leave these up to you as the player for the most part. When you personally feel as if your character has made progress in a meaningful manner.
Upon submission of the arc, a member will be expected to write a short 1-2 paragraphs explaining the arc and its significance to their character. Staff will review the threads and the claims. Based on their analysis, you could be 1-2 tiers at a time. Please do note, that the higher Rank you are, the more difficult it will be to accomplish this. Staff will expect growth in your character’s story and development. It may be where we tell you that we need to see more. At which point, characters are placed on a one week hold for Arc submissions. This gives them time to further discuss with staff the growth they are looking for as well as give the person time to possibly complete that task.

- Arcs can at most grant +15 Stars. Which is typically enough to get a player completely through 1 Letter Rank.
- Arcs should have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Threads that are irrelevant or offer no substance will not be used in the grading.
- Arcs at minimum require 5 Threads. Maximum should be no more than 10
- Arcs that use event threads need to still have some relevance for your character. Not simply that they were involved during an event.
